Lessons and Squad

Salisbury Scorpions Swim Club is a community based swimming school open to everyone, even if your child does not attend Salisbury State School. We offer the following swimming lessons for children aged 3 upwards:

 

• Kindy (3-5 yr) - beginner class. Parents are not requird to be in the water (ratio: 1:4)

•  

• LEVEL 1 - able to do basic kicking, paddling, floating front and back, kicking on back (ratio: 1:4)

• LEVEL 2 - able to do freestyle arms and kicking backstroke arms and kicking (ratio: 1:4)

 

• LEVEL 3 - able to do breaststroke arms and breaststroke kicks freestyle and backstroke (ratio: 1:6)

 

• JUNIOR SQUAD is offered to swimmers capable of breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle and butterfly (arms and kicking).

• SENIOR SQUAD is competitive level training and is offered to swimmers capable of swimming 50 m+ for all strokes

​​

Kindy and LEVEL 1-3 lessons are 30 mins in duration ($20/class)

​

JUNIOR SQUAD is 60 mins in duration ($185/term, 3 classes/week, 11 weeks)

​

SENIOR SQUAD is 90 mins in duration ($200/term, 4 classes/week, 11 weeks)

 

Fees are charged per term (normally 10 weeks). Where a lesson is on a public holiday classes will not be conducted that day and you will not be charged. Please email or use the google form to nominate your absence as soon as possible, if your child is unable to attend a lesson.
